Dr. Ahalt - Biography

Dr. Ahalt received his podiatric medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in May 2003, where he was a member of Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society and Sterling-Harford Honorary Anatomic Society. He completed his podiatric surgical residency program in June 2006 at Yale-New Haven Hospital/VA Connecticut Healthcare System.

Dr. Ahalt joined the Center for Foot and Ankle Care on August 1st 2006. His professional interests include care of the diabetic foot and lower extremity trauma. He has received unique training in diabetic limb salvage and reconstruction, with an emphasis on prevention in the diabetic patient.

Dr. Ahalt is originally from Frederick, MD and is excited to be returning close to home. He is an avid sports fan and in his spare time he enjoys spending time at the beach, attending live sporting events and working out to stay in shape.
